Gas Pipeline Survey (TD1)
What We Offer
ORTHORECTIFIED AERIAL PHOTOGRAPHY, INCLUDING GAS PIPELINE TD1 SURVEYS
Above All Images has vast experience in providing Gas Pipeline TD1 surveys, going back to 2007. Surveys are provided as geo-rectified orthomosaics or individual tiles. The orthophotography is taken vertically over the length of the buried pipeline across a swathe of around 1 km (500 m each side). The imagery shows all surface features, encroaching vegetation and tree ingress together with any man-made events such as unauthorised building, groundworks or any other actions likely to interfere with the pipeline.
Orthophotography is a powerful method that combines aerial photography with accurate geographic data to create distortion-free, true-to-scale images of the Earth's surface. These geo-rectified images are perfect for mapping, land surveys and spatial analysis as they provide precise details and measurements that reflect real-world coordinates. They are ideal for industries like urban planning, environmental monitoring, and infrastructure development. Orthophotography allows professionals to make informed decisions based on reliable, high-quality visual data.
The date is provided is provided as high-resolution imagery in GIS (Geographic Information System) compliant data format. Aerial surveys provide high-resolution imagery and geospatial data, which can be integrated into GIS platforms for mapping and analysis. The data is typically delivered in GIS-compatible formats, such as:
Shapefiles (.shp)
GeoTIFF (.tif)
KML/KMZ (for Google Earth)
DEM/DTM files (.asc, .flt)
CSV or database formats for attribute data.
